Recipe No.4- Winnie’s ANZACS

May 2, 2014April 11, 2015

An original recipe from Winnie’s journal…1943.

Once refered to as the ‘Golden Crunch’, packed in a tin, sealed with a kiss and sent to war.

Today this humble biscuit of oats and sugar, is refered to as the ANZAC biscuit, in memory of those who fought and died for freedom.
